The Baked Haus was created as a passion project after much frustration with the lack of gluten free choices there are.
About 3 years ago, I had many doctor and urgent care visits for stomach pains. After many specialists, appointments, and tests, I found out I have a gluten intolerance.
Since this, I have cut all gluten out of my diet and completely changed what I eat. With the amount of people that eat GF (whether by choice or necessity), I have been SHOCKED by the lack of options there are. Sure, there are some substitutions, but it is hard to find ones that actually taste good. For me, bread has been the most difficult item to find. there are quite a few options available but they either fall apart, taste like cardboard, or are hard as a rock.
For all these reasons, I started working to create something I actually WANT to eat, and now I want to share it with you.
