I was a competitive athlete my entire life. The dance experience I have came from throwin this ass in a circle at the clurrrbb  Well… and then lots of hard work over the last 6 years \nI was overweight a large portion of my life growing up. I know what it’s like to be uncomfy in your own skin. I know what it’s like to be uncomfy moving your body in certain ways. \nI lost 45lbs back in 2014\, and fell head over heels in love with fitness/health/wellness. I almost immediately became a trainer\, and helping people find their strongest versions of themselves has become one of the largest passions of my life. \nI have been told throughout my adult life that I can be intimidating. I’ve heard it over and over again that “the first time I met you I was so intimidated but….” — and that has always bummed me out. \nI never want anyone to feel intimidated by me!! It wasn’t until more recently in my life that I realized that had very little to do with me\, and more to do with others own perceptions. \nBut that to be said… I am a LOVER GIRL. I love people so hard. I care so deeply. And I take care of everyone around me. I think I’m actually one of the happiest\, silly-goose\, friendly\, loving persons when you actually take a moment to know me.

The group meets every 1st & 3rd Thursday at 2:00 here at the library. \nPatterned after the popular Placerville group\, Tuesdays at Two\, the Georgetown Library version will be led by Taylor Graham\, EDC Poet Laureate from 2016 – 2018. \nIf you love poetry\, write poetry\, or dream about writing poetry\, this group is for you! \nAssigned subjects will be offered to write poems about and then the poems are brought back to the group. \nThis is not really a critique process but reading poems aloud to the group is a good way to hear what’s working and what isn’t. \nParticipants also read from a list of established poets or bring poetry to share. \nThere is also a ‘word can’. Everyone pulls a word or phrase from the can and then uses them to write a poem in 10-15 minutes. This produces some strange and wild stuff and a lot of laughter!!!!
