SUMMARY:Archeology Hike
DESCRIPTION:Discover the archeology of Deer Creek Hills Preserve. These beautiful hills will disclose to us clues that may link the mysterious paleolithic Indians of 12\,000 years ago with the early nomadic hunters of 6\,000 years ago and the seasonal travelers from 600 years ago and sooner. We will find the sites that overlay the rush for gold upon the remnants of native habitation. Actual artifacts from nearby areas will assist us. There is so much time to traverse in just three miles!  As the weather turns warmer\, this will be our final “history hike” of the season. Gather at the corral at 9am.  We will be back by noon.

SUMMARY:Lit N Fit with Becca
DESCRIPTION:Come dance with us every Wednesday and Saturday!\nWednesdays: Reyha Dance Center\, Granite Bay\nSaturdays: Kaia Fit\, Folsom \nThree things about me that might surprise you but I think are important to know …. \nI have ZERO dance background. I was a competitive athlete my entire life. The dance experience I have came from throwin this ass in a circle at the clurrrbb  Well… and then lots of hard work over the last 6 years \nI was overweight a large portion of my life growing up. I know what it’s like to be uncomfy in your own skin. I know what it’s like to be uncomfy moving your body in certain ways. \nI lost 45lbs back in 2014\, and fell head over heels in love with fitness/health/wellness. I almost immediately became a trainer\, and helping people find their strongest versions of themselves has become one of the largest passions of my life. \nI have been told throughout my adult life that I can be intimidating. I’ve heard it over and over again that “the first time I met you I was so intimidated but….” — and that has always bummed me out. \nI never want anyone to feel intimidated by me!! It wasn’t until more recently in my life that I realized that had very little to do with me\, and more to do with others own perceptions. \nBut that to be said… I am a LOVER GIRL. I love people so hard. I care so deeply. And I take care of everyone around me. I think I’m actually one of the happiest\, silly-goose\, friendly\, loving persons when you actually take a moment to know me.

SUMMARY:Botanical Brushstrokes - Atrum Gallery El Dorado Hills
DESCRIPTION:The El Dorado Hills Arts Association presents the Annual Spring Studio Tour for 2026 and welcomes art lovers to meet painters\, sculptors\, photographers\, wood shapers\, potters\, jewelers\, and mixed media artists. \nThis year\, tour participants can visit 47 local artists at 13 locations. The two featured artists in this Atrium Gallery EDH exhibit will be here as part of the Studio Tour the weekend of May 16 and 17\, from 10-5 each day. \nThe current Atrium Gallery EDH exhibit will be open from March 23 to May 17\, 2026. \nAll are welcome to meet the artists at the reception\, Saturday\, March 28 from 5:00-7:30pm.\nJENNY HUANG \nI draw my inspiration from and become captivated by the transient nature of life and random offerings that so often go unnoticed. \nI love natural light and hope to evoke introspection and celebration into our journeys\, finding beauty in the human experience. \nI enjoy the fluidity and unpredictability of watercolors and their interplay between color and light. As each brushstroke dialogues with the paper\, my hope is that we will discover peace\, beauty and a reminder to cherish each moment. \njennyhuangyork@gmail.com \nVOLHA NARUTA-JOHNSON \nThe textured mountain and Northern Lights paintings shown at the Atrium Gallery EDH come from a very personal place. I spent several months living in an ashram in Nepal\, where I saw Everest almost every day. \nIt was steady\, quiet\, and impossible to ignore. For me\, it became a symbol of inner strength\, the part of us that stays standing no matter what is happening around us. When I build my textured mountain paintings\, I am thinking about that feeling. Each mountain is a reminder that every person has their own “Everest” inside them. \nThe Northern Lights carry a similar meaning. They appear only when certain elements of nature come together—solar energy\, the Earth’s magnetic field\, and the atmosphere. \nWhen those forces align\, something extraordinary becomes visible. I see painting the same way. The work happens when experience\, emotion\, and material meet at the right moment. It feels less like control and more like allowing something to appear. \nolganaruta0777@icloud.com \n

SUMMARY:Denios Farmers Market And Swap Meet
DESCRIPTION:Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market was founded in 1947 by Jim and Marilee Denio. It began small\, with a single individual selling produce near the Southern Pacific Railroad Yard. Before long\, the Saturday “Auction” by Mr. Denio became the main highlight at Denio’s. Soon\, other vendors began to rent space from Mr. Denio and sell their products. In time\, the Farmer’s Market developed into a local Saturday event. As word spread throughout the valley and foothills\, other sellers of all types of commodities became a part of the Farmer’s Market.
