Winter invites us to slow down, to be introspective, and to address our health and well-being at a deeper level. It is also a time when many of us get sick, and when stress may catch up with us. This class will present opportunities for staying well and thriving in the winter with herbs and practices. We’ll talk about the body in the winter, immunity, the best herbs for the season, and my go-to herbal recipes for winter wellness, including teas, tinctures, syrups, and foods. We’ll walk around the farm to see the plants in their slowing state, make herbal medicine together, and share a simple winter meal. You’ll go home with lots of recipes, plus herbal products of your own making to use or gift this holiday season.
