Learn how to make two classic sushi rolls from scratch in this cooking class with Chef Birdie!

During the class, you’ll learn how to make the perfect seasoned sushi rice to be the base of the rolls. Plus, practice your knife skills to chop fresh vegetables for the sushi. As you begin to assemble the rolls, spread the rice on nori sheets. Layer smoked salmon and avocado for a savory and smoky salmon roll. Then, make a classic California roll by adding imitation crab, cucumber and carrots to rice-lined nori sheets. You’ll also get to practice the technique to roll up your sushi by hand.
