Beti Girma, a violin instructor
Beti Girma is a student in music, violin performance emphasis, at American River College (ARC). She has studied violin under the direction of Irina Samarina, violin professor at ARC, as well as Igor Veligan, violin professor at the University of the Pacific Conservatory. She has a unique background, having graduated with her first bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in Civil Engineering. Though they are different subjects, she finds studying the violin and studying engineering very similar – both require focus, creativity, and commitment. She hopes to convey these three foundational studying methods to her students while also encouraging a fun environment where music provides joy and fulfillment in life.
She recently got in Master program as Sacramento State University, violin performance, and will start to attend in the Fall, 2023.
She has an availability for teaching on Mondays and Thursdays
