Growing up, music was my trusty sidekick. As the oldest of six kids and with frequent moves, I often felt unanchored. Everything changed when I was nine and our family got a second-hand piano. With lessons, I dove into playing everything from hymns to radio hits and Broadway tunes as well as the pieces assigned by my piano teacher, turning music into my own adventure.
Today, music binds my family of five kids together. I have been a piano teacher in the Folsom / El Dorado Hills area since 2014 and I love sharing the joy of music with my students. I want to give every one of my students a musical journey that is full of joy and creativity.
